Working principle of the mounting head:

The mounting head has the functions of angle rotation, rise and fall, vacuum adsorption, etc. The working process is that the mounting head opens the vacuum adsorption, the falling mechanism lowers the mounting head, reaches the feeding position of the feeder, absorbs the components, lifts the mounting head, completes the photo image acquisition through the fast camera, finally moves to the position above the PCB to place the components, the mounting head drops to the PCB component coordinate position, and lifts the mounting head after the vacuum is closed.

There are some differences between the mounting heads:

The number of mounting heads is usually even, for example, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12; With a large number of mounting heads, it is natural to install more different nozzles. After all, for a product, different nozzles need to be installed to adsorb devices of different sizes. Similarly, a large number of mounting heads is naturally less than a small number of running rounds. For example, for 80 materials, 8 heads need 10 rounds to complete the mounting, and 4 heads need 20 rounds to complete the mounting.

Safety protection of mounting head:

When the machine is in full automatic operation when the cover is closed, the mounting head moves back and forth to the left and right to a large extent, with great speed and inertia. Although the equipment will operate at a protective automatic speed reduction after the cover is opened, the risk of machine injury and machine damage should also be noted. The main risks are: the external force of the mounting head is damaged due to the feeder not being installed in place or being suddenly tilted, and the operator is installing the feeder and performing other internal work of the machine, Personal injury caused by the movement of the mounting head due to the artificial misoperation of the software.
